About the Programme: The Vinschool Advanced (Cambridge) Programme is a bilingual initiative that integrates the Vinschool Education System, the Vietnamese national curriculum, and the Cambridge International Programmes.

What we seek: Vinschool is on the lookout for enthusiastic and experienced certified teachers to join our international team. The successful candidates will instruct the Cambridge Psychology & Sociology Programme, adhering to the Cambridge International Curriculum Framework. Applicants should be appropriately qualified and experienced, with a strong commitment to guiding students through both academic and extracurricular endeavors.

Key Responsibilities (including, but not limited to):

• Provide high-quality instruction in accordance with the Cambridge International Curriculum framework, with a teaching load of up to 20 hours per week.

• Develop curriculum, lesson plans, and teaching resources; manage and update information on the Learning Management System (LMS).

• Tailor teaching methods and materials to accommodate diverse student needs and learning styles.

• Evaluate and track student academic performance; offer timely feedback and support.

• Maintain and update student academic records, including timely entering of test results into the school’s systems and preparing student progress reports.

• Set and uphold classroom expectations; oversee student behavior and social development.

• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and guardians regarding student progress and any concerns.

• Design and implement remedial programs for students needing extra support.

• Engage in faculty meetings, professional development sessions, and school events.

• Organize and contribute to extracurricular activities, such as clubs and academic competitions.

• Supervise students during non-classroom times, including hall duty, morning gate duty, and other assigned supervision responsibilities from the Principal or Vice Principal.

• While the primary teaching responsibility lies in their subject specialization, teachers may also be assigned a second subject within their expertise to support the school’s program.

• Carry out homeroom teacher duties as assigned, including monitoring attendance, providing pastoral care, and communicating with parents; an allowance is provided for this role.

• Fulfill additional professional responsibilities assigned by the Principal, Vice Principal, or Lead Teacher.

Qualifications


• A degree in a relevant field of education.

• A professional teaching qualification/license/certification as applicable.

• Preference will be given to candidates holding a Master’s degree.

Experience:

• A minimum of 2 years of teaching experience (post-qualification) in a formal school setting.

• Familiarity with the Cambridge International Curriculum is advantageous but not mandatory.

Language Proficiency:

• Proficiency in English (minimum C1 fluency).

Soft Skills and Attributes:

• Strong presentation, communication, problem-solving, and critical thinking capabilities.

• Proficient in class management, time management, interpersonal relations, and teamwork.

• Adaptable, patient, flexible, dedicated, and possessing a positive attitude.
