About This Role

We are seeking an Early Years teacher dedicated to nurturing the joy of childhood and inspiring our students through exceptional play-based learning experiences and enriching learning environments. The ideal candidate will prioritize high-quality interactions, engage with children in a meaningful way, and serve as a caring, passionate advocate for their students. Our educational approach is shaped by the children's interests, and our flexible curriculum reflects this philosophy. We believe in empowering children as explorers and leaders of their learning journeys, and we are in search of a teacher committed to personalized education grounded in strong relationships and a deep understanding of each learner as a unique individual.

Our school provides outstanding, well-equipped indoor and outdoor spaces, including a dedicated Forest School nestled in a lush tropical jungle. Our students are remarkable and will fully engage in the learning adventures you create together.

At our institution, we do not view our children merely as data points, nor do we emphasize 'school readiness'. If you are the kind of educator who inspires children to eagerly enter school for the exciting learning experiences that lie ahead, then you will thrive here.

While prior international experience is not mandatory, a genuine desire to be part of a truly international community is essential.

To apply, please fill out the application form on the TES website, where you can find additional details about the position. Make sure to complete your profile and upload an updated CV, which should include a recent photograph and full contact details (including email addresses) for three (3) professional references, one of whom must be your current or most recent headteacher. A covering letter is also required. Please note that incomplete profiles, missing covering letters, or failure to submit your CV via TES will lead to the rejection of your application. Jerudong International School is dedicated to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people, expecting all staff and volunteers to uphold this commitment. References will be requested prior to any final interviews, and all candidates will undergo appropriate vetting procedures and satisfactory Criminal Background Checks or their equivalents covering the past 10 years of employment history.

The deadline for applications is Monday, 13th April 2026; early submissions are encouraged. Initial and final interviews will take place via Google Meet.

If you have not been contacted by Friday, 24th April 2026, please assume that you have not been shortlisted. The School sincerely appreciates your interest.

The successful candidate must be prepared to start work in August 2026.
