Secondary Science Teacher

Job Purpose:

We are in search of an exceptional Science Teacher to become part of our Secondary Team. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a passion for teaching Science to students across the secondary age groups and must possess the capability to instruct Physics up to Year 13.

We seek an individual who is enthusiastic about international education, innovative in their approach, and dedicated to ongoing professional development. The successful applicant will also be flexible, eager to face challenges, and an outstanding practitioner in the classroom.

We are looking for specific attributes:

· A relevant degree in Science or a closely related field.

· A recognized teaching qualification (e.g., PGCE, QTS, or an equivalent international qualification).

· Comprehensive subject knowledge across the sciences, particularly with confidence and ideally experience in teaching Physics up to Year 13.

· A strong grasp of current educational methodologies and pedagogical practices.

· Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal abilities.

· Relevant experience in teaching Science within a UK or international school that follows the Pearson International Curriculum and the National Curriculum of England, from KS3 to A Levels.

· A commitment to contributing to broader school initiatives and the extracurricular activities offered by the school.

· Must hold an EU passport or currently possess a permit that enables work and residence in Luxembourg.
