Job Overview

Amity International School, Abu Dhabi is on the lookout for a dedicated, passionate, and qualified Teacher of PE to become part of our dynamic sports department. Our PE team is expected to engage in co-curricular sports activities, which will be compensated within the timetable. While experience in coaching or leading netball would be a plus, it is not mandatory. Additionally, the ability to teach academic PE up to GCSE and A Level would be advantageous. Leadership roles may also be available for the right individual.

Key Requirements

• Capability to teach academic PE (GCSE, A Level, or BTEC Sport)

• Experience in creating inclusive sports offerings

• Understanding of modern PE teaching methodologies and assessment frameworks

• Knowledge of differentiated teaching strategies for physical education

• Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with coaches, parents, and students

• Experience engaging with students from various cultural backgrounds

• Ability to support the school's Elite Player Pathway (EPP) program
