Key Requirements
•
Bachelor's degree in English or a related discipline
•
Teaching qualification (PGCE, B.Ed, or equivalent)
•
At least 2 years of experience teaching English in a secondary education environment
•
Familiarity with British curriculum English (GCSE and A-Level)
•
Solid understanding of historical periods, themes, and historiography
•
Experience in cultivating analytical and evaluative skills among students
•
Knowledge of differentiated teaching approaches for diverse learners
•
Experience in utilizing primary and secondary sources in instruction
•
Excellent communication skills for engaging discussion-based learning
•
Awareness of current methodologies and best practices in history education
•
Experience in assessing and monitoring student progress in history
•
Ability to promote intercultural understanding through historical perspectives
•
Experience in organizing educational trips and activities to enrich learning
