About This Role

Runnymede College is a private, non-denominational British institution located in Madrid, providing a British-style education to students of all nationalities from ages two to eighteen. The curriculum adheres to the British National Curriculum.

Established as a private school in September 1967, Runnymede College inaugurated its primary section in 1987, and since 1990, the entire school has been situated in La Moraleja, a northern district of Madrid. The school is organized into three sections: Pre-Prep (Pre Nursery to Year 3), Prep (Years 4 to 8), and Senior School (Years 9 to 13).

Runnymede College boasts high academic standards. In June 2025, 57% of students achieved A-A* grades at A level, surpassing the 48% A*-A grades attained by independent schools in England this year. Furthermore, 67% of our students earned A*-A grades at IGCSE, which is notably higher than the 48% of A*-A grades reported by the English independent school sector at GCSE level.

Among the graduating class of 2025, 83% of students heading to the UK are set to enroll in Top 10 universities, as per the Sunday Times Good University Guide. Prestigious institutions such as Oxford, Cambridge, Imperial, UCL, and LSE are among those welcoming our graduates this year. In the United States, students have already begun their studies at renowned colleges including Harvard, Columbia, UPenn, and Brown.

Several of our students will remain in Spain, attending esteemed institutions such as ICADE, IE, and ICAI, while others will pursue education in leading European universities in France and Ireland.

We invite you to be part of a stimulating and fulfilling educational environment, both inside and outside the classroom. Candidates should be eager to engage actively in the school’s co-curricular activities.
