About the Programme: The Vinschool Advanced (Cambridge) Programme is a bilingual initiative that integrates the Vinschool Education System, the Vietnamese national curriculum, and the Cambridge International Programmes for a comprehensive teaching and learning experience.
What we need: We are in search of energetic, experienced, and professionally certified educators to join our international teaching team. The successful candidates will instruct the Cambridge Computer Science Programme, adhering to the Cambridge International Curriculum Framework. Applicants should possess the necessary qualifications and experience, demonstrating a strong commitment to supporting students both academically and through extracurricular activities.
Essential Responsibilities (including but not limited to):
•
Provide high-quality instruction in line with the Cambridge International Curriculum framework, with a teaching load of up to 20 hours per week.
•
Develop curriculum, lesson plans, and educational materials; manage and update content on the LMS.
•
Tailor teaching approaches and resources to accommodate diverse student needs and learning styles.
•
Evaluate and monitor student academic progress; deliver timely feedback and support.
•
Maintain and update student academic records, including prompt recording of test results and preparation of progress reports.
•
Establish and uphold classroom expectations; oversee student behavior and social development.
•
Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and guardians regarding student progress and any concerns.
•
Create and implement remedial programs for students needing extra support.
•
Engage in faculty meetings, professional development opportunities, and school events.
•
Contribute to extracurricular activities, including clubs and academic competitions.
•
Supervise students during non-class times, including hall duty, morning gate duty, and other assigned supervision tasks by the Principal or Vice Principal.
•
While the primary teaching focus will be on the subject area of expertise, teachers may also be assigned a secondary subject within their qualifications to support the school's program.
•
Assume homeroom teacher duties as assigned, which include tracking attendance, offering pastoral care, and communicating with parents; an allowance is designated for this role.
•
Carry out additional professional responsibilities as requested by the Principal, Vice Principal, or Lead Teacher.
•
Degree in Education in a relevant field.
•
Professional teaching qualification/license/certification as required.
•
Preference will be given to candidates holding a Master’s degree.
Experience:
•
At least 2 years of professional teaching experience (post-qualification) in a formal school setting.
•
Experience with the Cambridge International Curriculum is preferred but not mandatory.
Language Proficiency:
•
Fluent in English (minimum C1 fluency).
Soft Skills and Characteristics:
•
Excellent presentation, communication, problem-solving, and critical thinking abilities.
•
Skills in classroom management, time management, interpersonal relations, and teamwork.
•
