We are seeking a qualified and gifted Teacher of Modern Foreign Languages (Spanish and French) to join our team in August 2026.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES



Provide engaging and effective instruction in Spanish and French, in line with the IB Diploma Programme (IBDP) and other international curricula.


Design and implement dynamic lessons that address diverse learning needs, utilizing modern teaching techniques and technology.


Assess student progress through formative and summative evaluations, ensuring the maintenance of high academic standards.


Offer pastoral support, enhancing student well-being and working closely with the school’s well-being team.


Motivate student participation in extracurricular activities, cultural events, and language-related initiatives.


Participate in curriculum development and contribute to school improvement efforts.


Foster a supportive classroom environment with high expectations for behavior and discipline.


Collaborate with colleagues to exchange best practices and support professional development objectives.


Engage with parents and stakeholders through regular updates on student progress.


Stay informed about educational innovations and partake in continuous professional development.

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE:


A relevant degree in Modern Foreign Languages (Spanish and French) or a related field, along with a valid teaching qualification.


Experience teaching Spanish and French at the secondary level, preferably with an understanding of the IB curriculum (IBDP) or other international programs.


The ability to inspire and engage students, nurturing a passion for languages and culture.


Strong skills in differentiating instruction to meet the needs of diverse learners.


Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities to build strong relationships with students, colleagues, and parents.


Experience in utilizing technology and innovative teaching strategies to enhance the learning experience.


A commitment to ongoing professional development.


A solid understanding of safeguarding and student welfare practices.
