Established in 2021, Shenzhen Hong Kong Pui Kiu College Longhua Xinyi School (PKXYS) is a joint venture between the Hong Kong Xinyi Group and the Pui Kiu Education Foundation. It is distinguished as the first international boarding school in Mainland China to implement both the National Compulsory Education Curriculum and the Hong Kong Curriculum, as well as the first institution in Mainland China to provide a continuous 16-year education program designed for Hong Kong students.
Located in the Longhua District of Shenzhen, conveniently near the Shenzhen North Railway Station, the campus covers approximately 45,000 square meters with a total construction area of about 180,000 square meters. 2. Positions Available
We are actively seeking educators for the Sociology subject within IGCSE/A-Level/HKDSE courses.
3. Job description
Teaching Responsibilities
• Prepare and submit semester teaching schemes of work, establishing clear instructional objectives.
• Conduct all classes in English while ensuring academic rigor and engaging students.
Communication Responsibilities
• Attend departmental and staff meetings.
• Communicate effectively with colleagues, parents, and students.
• Foster positive relationships with parents while providing regular updates on students' academic performance.
Support Responsibilities
• Participate in school management activities, supervision duties, and promotional events as required.
4. Qualifications
• A Bachelor’s, Master’s, or Doctoral degree in a relevant subject area. (Preference will be given to candidates with a Master’s degree and a recognized teaching qualification.)
• A minimum of five years teaching experience in IGCSE, A-Level, HKDSE, or other recognized international curricula. (Candidates with a Master’s or Doctoral degree in education-related fields need at least two years of teaching experience.)
• A solid understanding of the UK/western higher education systems and the academic needs of international students.
• Experience in international higher education environments is preferred.
• A clean criminal record is mandatory.
