Established in 2021, Shenzhen Hong Kong Pui Kiu College Longhua Xinyi School (PKXYS) represents a collaborative effort between the Hong Kong Xinyi Group and the Pui Kiu Education Foundation. It is recognized as the first internationalized boarding institution in Mainland China to implement both the National Compulsory Education Curriculum and the Hong Kong Curriculum concurrently. Additionally, it is the inaugural school in Mainland China to provide a 16-year continuous education pathway designed specifically for Hong Kong students.
Strategically situated in the Longhua District of Shenzhen, near the Shenzhen North Railway Station hub, the school covers an area of about 45,000 square meters, with a total built-up area of approximately 180,000 square meters. 2. Positions Available
We are actively seeking educators for the Psychology subject within the IGCSE/A-Level/HKDSE programs.
3. Job Description
Teaching Responsibilities
• Prepare semester teaching schemes of work and establish clear instructional objectives.
• Conduct all classes in English, ensuring both academic rigor and student engagement.
Communication Responsibilities
• Attend departmental and staff meetings regularly.
• Effectively communicate with colleagues, parents, and students.
• Foster positive relationships with parents and provide ongoing feedback regarding students' academic progress.
Support Responsibilities
• Participate in school management duties, supervision responsibilities, and promotional events as required.
4. Qualifications
• A Bachelor’s, Master’s, or Doctoral degree in a relevant subject area. (Preference will be given to candidates with a Master’s degree and a recognized teaching qualification.)
• At least five years of teaching experience in IGCSE, A-Level, HKDSE, or other recognized international curricula. (Candidates with a Master’s or Doctoral degree in education-related fields must have a minimum of two years of teaching experience.)
• A solid understanding of the UK/western higher education systems and the academic requirements of international students.
• Previous experience in international higher education settings is preferred.
• A clean criminal record is mandatory.
