Creators, an exciting new STEM-focused school, is set to launch in Southern Spain for gifted students. We are on the lookout for a remarkable Chemistry teacher to become a part of our Mathematics, Physics, and Computer Science department. Preference will be given to candidates who can also teach Mathematics or Physics alongside Chemistry. This essential position is integral to our goal of cultivating a culture of creativity, excellence, and entrepreneurial spirit among both students and staff. Chemistry serves as a fundamental element of our curriculum, vital for realizing our vision of being a springboard for the next generation of innovative science and technology leaders and entrepreneurs.

We are looking for a forward-thinking Chemistry teacher who possesses an enduring passion for fostering innovative learning through research, inquiry, and technological skills. You will motivate and guide our students in their scientific exploration and growth, instilling a love for learning while creating an engaging and vibrant classroom atmosphere. Additionally, you will cultivate a spirit of creativity and entrepreneurship, empowering our students to become the trailblazers of the future.

Key Responsibilities:
• Collaborate as a member of a team of innovative and reflective educators.
• Instruct classes in Chemistry and either Mathematics or Physics, leading by example with your dynamic teaching approach.
• Ignite a passion for learning and deepen knowledge and understanding in Chemistry.
• Develop and apply a groundbreaking educational approach in these subjects.
• Foster an environment that encourages inquiry and creativity.
• Motivate students to excel in IGCSE and A-Level examinations, international competitions, and scientific research projects.
• Ensure mastery of the subject and excellence in curriculum design.
• Formulate strategies to support talented students in achieving remarkable results in academic and extracurricular pursuits.
• Actively participate in the school's co-curricular activities.

Qualifications and Experience:
• Proficiency in both written and spoken English is essential.
• Ideally, possess an EU passport or have the right to work in Spain.
• Hold a Master’s degree or Doctorate in Chemistry or a related discipline.
• A valid Teaching Qualification - PGCE/BEd or equivalent, preferably EU-recognized.
• Significant experience in international schools, particularly in teaching British Curriculum Chemistry, with a proven track record in competitive international examinations.
• Strong knowledge and experience in fostering inquiry-based, interdisciplinary, project-based, and research skills applicable in real-world contexts.
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational abilities.
• Proficient in utilizing technology and digital tools to enhance the learning and teaching experience.
• Familiarity with current international standards and best practices in Chemistry education.
