  • Influence the development of the curriculum, pastoral systems, and enrichment programs tailored to a varied group of secondary students.
  • Provide motivating and visible leadership for the secondary campus, setting ambitious expectations for teaching, learning, and student success.
  • Oversee daily campus operations, including timetable organization, staffing, resource allocation, and health and safety compliance.
  • Direct the curriculum implementation for Years 6–12, ensuring it adheres to both Cambridge International and Vietnamese national standards, while facilitating smooth transitions between key educational stages.
  • Develop and implement effective assessment and reporting systems to monitor student progress and guide instructional methods.
  • Supervise pastoral care and safeguarding efforts, promoting wellbeing, positive behavior, and a secure learning environment for all students.
  • Recruit, manage, and mentor secondary staff, fostering a collaborative culture focused on reflective practice and ongoing enhancement.
  • Lead initiatives across the school, including extracurricular activities and community engagement events to enrich the student experience.
  • Build professional connections with parents, community stakeholders, and the broader VAS leadership team to advance campus achievements and initiatives.

Ideal Candidate Profile

  • Proven Leadership: Experience in senior leadership positions within a secondary school context, preferably in an international or bilingual environment, demonstrating a strong track record of raising standards.

  • Staff Management: Established ability in recruiting, developing, and managing team performance while fostering high-functioning teams.
  • Student-Centric Approach: Commitment to inclusive education, wellbeing, and personalized support for a diverse range of learners.
  • Operational Skills: Experience in managing budgets, schedules, compliance, and campus logistics with meticulous attention to detail and accountability.
