Aldar Education is seeking an outstanding Mathematics Teacher for Noya British School in Abu Dhabi, commencing in the Academic Year AY2026/27.

Key responsibilities include:
- Building positive relationships with all members of the school community.
- Collaborating with colleagues to create engaging lessons that meet curriculum standards.
- Effectively communicating with fellow educators and demonstrating adaptability in team settings.
- Working alongside curriculum support staff (when applicable) to promote children's development.
Specific Duties:
Teaching and Learning:
- A comprehensive understanding of the curriculum.
- Organizing classroom resources and learning materials while creating displays that cultivate a positive and engaging learning environment.
- Planning, preparing, and delivering lessons designed to meet the diverse needs of students in the classroom.
- Motivating students through enthusiastic and creative teaching.
- Observing and assessing students according to school assessment protocols.
Assessment and Data:
- Taking ownership of the academic progress for a class.
- Meeting the standards for assessing and documenting student development through Target Tracker.
- Using assessment data to inform future planning, support, and interventions.
- Providing parents and guardians with updates on student progress during Parent Teacher Conferences and other meetings.
Behavior Management and Duties:
- Complying with the school’s behavior policy.
- Effectively managing classrooms with strategies tailored to students' needs to inspire, motivate, and challenge them.
- Carrying out duties as assigned in accordance with school policy.
Requirements:
Minimum Qualifications:
- A Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field along with a PGCE or another teaching qualification.
Minimum Experience:
- A minimum of 1-2 years of teaching experience.

- Experience working with students who are non-native English speakers.
