SEND Teacher (LInK) - KSAB - AY26-27

Kings’ School Al Barsha is in search of a committed and passionate SEND Teacher to join our growing Inclusion department, where we uphold high expectations for our students. In this role, you will foster an engaging, language-rich atmosphere that promotes student progress with a focus on enhancing communication and interaction skills, social growth, and emotional self-regulation.

Requirements and Experience:

• A relevant bachelor’s degree in Special Needs Education
• Possession of Qualified Teacher Status (QTS), PGCE, or an equivalent qualification
• A minimum of 2 years’ experience in a special needs classroom
• Experience with students facing learning difficulties and significant communication barriers
• Ability to adapt the curriculum to meet the specific needs of each child
• Expertise in creating a structured learning environment
• Skill in designing innovative learning activities tailored to individual needs
• Proficiency in developing Individual Education Plans
• A clear personal educational philosophy
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Comprehensive understanding of teaching early language and mathematical skills
• Commitment to inclusive education that addresses the unique requirements of each child
