Requirements and Experience:
Essential:
- Possess a bachelor’s degree pertinent to the teaching subject or its equivalent.
- Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent certification.
- Demonstrate strong subject knowledge and a genuine enthusiasm for sharing the subject with students.
- Have experience teaching GCSE and A Level.
- A minimum of 3 years of teaching experience is preferred; however, aspiring new teachers who demonstrate potential will be considered.
- Capable of delivering consistently inspirational lessons with a proven track record of outstanding results.
- Exhibit a highly collaborative nature and possess strong communication skills.
- Show evidence of recent professional development relevant to this role.
- Bring ideas that will enhance the department's visibility within the school.
- Have ICT skills that reflect the integration of technology in modern classrooms.
- Be committed to the extracurricular program.
- Demonstrate a commitment to the well-being and pastoral care of all students under their supervision.
- Maintain an innovative, creative, and positive mindset.
Desirable:
- Experience working overseas or with international students.
