SECONDARY SCIENCE TEACHER (KS3 & KS4)
BESA is seeking an outstanding Secondary Science Teacher (Key Stage 3 & Key Stage 4) to join our team starting in September 2026. This full-time role is initially contracted until the end of August 2028.
The successful candidate will:
- Possess a recognized qualification in Science education (Bachelor of Education or PGCE / UK Qualified Teacher Status is essential)
- Have a minimum of 2 years of teaching experience at the secondary level, either in the UK or at a British International School
- Demonstrate a strong understanding of the KS3 English National Curriculum and the Cambridge IGCSE Double award at KS4
- Exhibit excellent planning, organizational, and communication skills
- Function effectively as a collaborative team member
- Leverage technology to enhance student learning experiences
- Assume a leadership role within their subject area and showcase exemplary teaching practices
- Commit to continuous professional development
- Be a fluent English speaker
