RAK Academy - Al Hamra
Located in the southern area of Ras Al Khaimah within the Al Hamra community, RAK Academy – Al Hamra is an evolving primary and lower secondary institution. We provide a customized UK National Curriculum from Pre-Kindergarten to Grade 8, augmented by UAE MOE subjects. Our newly launched secondary school, catering to Grades 6 to 8, is set to welcome its inaugural cohort in August 2026. We hold accreditation from the British Schools Overseas (BSO), ensuring compliance with the standards of prominent international British institutions. Additionally, we offer full ECT induction for teachers.
The Role
RAK Academy - Al Hamra is seeking a passionate, motivated, and inspiring Primary Teacher to become a part of our dedicated team.
Essential Qualifications:
- A Bachelor’s degree along with a post-graduate qualification in education, or a Bachelor of Education degree.
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is mandatory.
- Proven excellence in classroom practice and pedagogy.
- Experience with the British Curriculum is crucial.
- Proficiency in using technology to enhance both teaching and learning.
- Ability to inspire, engage, and support students, colleagues, and parents.
- Reflective practitioner with a capacity for creative thinking and innovation.
- A positive, enthusiastic team player.
- Willingness to actively engage in extracurricular activities.
- Above all, a commitment to making decisions rooted in best practices that benefit the child.
