About This Role

  • Industry expertise – strong knowledge of the Performing Arts sector, with experience in at least one area such as Dance, Music, Drama, Acting or Directing.

  • Curriculum development – experience developing relevant, industry-focused curriculum and building links with employers and sector stakeholders.

  • Teaching & student support – experience of teaching or tutoring students, with a passion for learning and high expectations of student achievement.

  • Relevant qualifications – a degree or qualification in Performing Arts, plus a teaching qualification or willingness to work towards one. GCSE English and Maths at Grade 4/C or above.

  • Creative & collaborative – able to develop engaging resources, use initiative, work effectively as part of a team and communicate confidently with students, colleagues and employers.

  • Organised & flexible – able to manage competing priorities, work accurately under pressure and support occasional evening or weekend activity such as Open Days and events.
