ROLE SUMMARY:

King’s College School Soto de Viñuelas, a notable British international institution located in Spain, is seeking a talented and enthusiastic IB Diploma Programme Coordinator to join the Senior School commencing in late August 2026. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the implementation and enhancement of the IBDP, while also teaching Business, Economics, or a Science subject aligned with their expertise.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:


Oversee and manage the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme (IBDP) throughout the school.


Ensure the provision of high-quality teaching, effective assessment, and compliance with IB standards and practices.


Support and guide teachers delivering IB courses, fostering collaboration and professional development.


Monitor student progress and academic performance, maintaining the school’s high achievement standards.


Teach IBDP and/or Senior School classes in Business, Economics, or a Science subject.


Work closely with senior leadership on curriculum development and preparing students for university.

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE:


A relevant degree and a recognized teaching qualification (e.g., PGCE or equivalent).


Experience teaching within the IB Diploma Programme, preferably in Business, Economics, or Sciences.


Prior experience in IB coordination or academic leadership (preferred).


Exceptional organizational, leadership, and communication abilities.


A strong dedication to upholding high academic standards and supporting student success in an international school environment.

Compensation

£30,000 - £45,000+ (Regional Equivalent)
