About This Role

We are excited to invite applications for the role of MYP Individuals and Societies and Business Management/Economics Teacher to become part of our Social Sciences department at the high/secondary school level.

Job Description:
The ideal candidate will take on the responsibility of delivering stimulating lessons in Individuals and Societies, alongside Business Management or Economics within the IB MYP framework. This position entails planning, teaching, evaluating student progress, collaborating with peers, and enhancing students’ critical thinking abilities in social sciences.

Skills and Qualifications:
- A Bachelor’s degree in Education, Social Sciences, Business Management, Economics, or a related discipline (minimum requirement)
- A minimum of 2 years of teaching experience at the secondary/high school level
- Knowledge of the IB Middle Years Programme curriculum standards
- Strong understanding of Individuals and Societies topics as well as concepts in Business Management or Economics
- Ability to create inquiry-based lessons that stimulate critical thinking
- Excellent communication skills to effectively engage with students from various backgrounds
- Proficiency in utilizing educational technology tools to enhance the learning experience
