Deputy Head Primary - Academic
This is a thrilling opportunity for a versatile and seasoned professional to bring our curriculum to life for our students and the broader school community.
You will be an exemplary leader, ensuring high standards of achievement for all students through the advancement of learning, teaching, and the curriculum. As a skilled communicator, you will collaborate with Phase and Subject Leaders to assess, evaluate, and elevate academic standards. In your role as a senior leader, you will keep an eye on the future while assisting the Primary Leadership Team in enhancing teaching and learning and ensuring the daily operations of the Primary School run smoothly.
Additionally, the Deputy Head Academic serves as the EmpowerUs champion for all school staff, providing guidance on utilizing the EmpowerUs competency framework in their interactions and work with one another.
You will exemplify the highest standards of professionalism and will, in particular:
· Ignite enthusiasm and passion for learning throughout the school community;
· Foster trust and confidence among students, colleagues, and parents;
· Inspire and motivate students to achieve their highest potential;
· Advocate for the integration of technology in the classroom to enrich learning;
· Maintain a relentless pursuit of excellence, using achievement data and lesson observations to promote outstanding teaching;
· Ensure continuity across the Primary phase and contribute to the development of curriculum, pedagogy, and teaching across the school;
· Cultivate strong teams and create an environment where staff can learn from one another;
· Continuously strive to enhance the quality of student learning across the curriculum, particularly concerning English language development;
· Contribute to school improvement planning and curriculum development;
