Teacher of Physics
with the opportunity to take on the role of Head of Science starting in September 2025.

YOUR PROFILE
Are you prepared to motivate young minds and uncover the marvels of the universe?
We are in search of a dedicated Physics Teacher who is excited to engage students on topics ranging from the smallest particles to the vast expanses of galaxies. This role not only provides an opportunity to teach core concepts but also the chance to take on a leadership position within our progressive Science Faculty.
As a qualified educator, you should be a fluent English speaker, preferably with experience in the IBDP curriculum, and adept at engaging with students from various backgrounds. Your strong communication abilities and comfort with technology will enable you to foster positive relationships with colleagues, students, and parents.
We appreciate organization, a good sense of humor, and a willingness to fully engage in school life, including activities in the boarding house and extracurricular programs. Our comprehensive educational framework includes Saturday morning classes and exciting challenges, such as climbing 4000-meter peaks and nighttime ski racing.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Establish a strong presence for the subject within and beyond the Science Faculty by collaborating and committing to the ongoing enhancement of student learning quality
- Create and implement resources that promote high-quality student learning by designing effective teaching programs that provide exceptional learning opportunities both inside and outside the classroom
- Utilize formative and summative assessments effectively to plan challenging learning experiences for all students, incorporating homework and other extracurricular learning options
- Support the academic growth of a small group of students within one of our boarding houses
- Serve as a coach and mentor to individual tutees
- Engage in whole school learning initiatives
