Teacher of Physics
with the opportunity to become Head of Science starting in September 2025.

YOUR PROFILE

We are in search of a dedicated Physics Teacher who is enthusiastic about engaging learners from the tiniest particles to the expansive galaxies. This role not only involves teaching essential concepts but also presents the opportunity for leadership within our innovative Science Faculty.
As a qualified educator, you will be a fluent English speaker, preferably with experience in the IBDP curriculum, and comfortable working with students from varied backgrounds. Your strong communication abilities and tech-savvy nature will help you forge meaningful relationships with colleagues, students, and their families.
We appreciate organizational skills and a good sense of humor, along with a readiness to engage fully in school life, including the boarding program and extracurricular activities. Our comprehensive learning model includes Saturday morning classes and exciting challenges, ranging from climbing 4000-meter peaks to nighttime ski racing.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Establish a robust profile for the subject within and outside the Science Faculty by collaborating and committing to the continuous enhancement of student learning quality.
- Create and implement resources that support high-quality student learning by designing effective teaching programs that provide exemplary learning experiences both in and out of the classroom.
- Utilize formative and summative assessments effectively to plan challenging learning opportunities for all students, including the use of homework and other extracurricular activities.
- Assist in the academic development of a small group of students within one of our boarding houses.
- Act as a coach and mentor to individual tutees.
- Contribute to whole-school learning initiatives.
