We are seeking to employ a dynamic and passionate teacher of Drama - with the potential to take on the role of Curriculum Leader - who will lead exceptional provision across the Drama Department, and ensure that there are strong academic outcomes for all student groups.

Drama is offered at KS3 and KS4 with successful results at examination level. You would lead, or be a part of a team of teachers, leading with vision and commitment in a dynamic, creative and committed Faculty who work together to provide a strong, inspiring experience for our students and the wider community. The Curriculum Lead Drama is one with significant responsibilities in the Faculty: for developing and administering all subject specific matters, managing quality assurance as part of the faculty leadership team, completing the appraisal process and ensuring effective communication within the Faculty. Involvement in the school production would also be part of the post.

The Creative Arts team are passionate about the Arts and committed to delivering a programme of learning which is enriching, fun and creative; is supportive, enabling students to achieve success and promotes all that the Creative Arts Industries have to offer. We are proud of our links with local Arts providers and our alumni Arts Students working in all aspects of the Creative Industries.

Sprowston Community Academy is a growing 11-18 school serving the North-east of Norwich. As part of the role we would include CPD that develops your ability and confidence applying our behaviour and reward system, understanding our teaching and learning cycle and applying adaptive teaching strategies within the classroom.
