Teacher of Computer Science

The Role
At Denla British School, Computer Science is offered as a specialized subject in our state-of-the-art MacLabs from Years 1 through 13. The individual in this role will be responsible for ensuring the highest levels of student achievement in the subject for the classes they instruct. This involves the careful monitoring, evaluation, and assessment of learning progress and teaching outcomes, alongside setting targets for enhancement. Starting in August 2025, the school will introduce IGCSE ICT for Year 10 students. This position is an expansion role, allowing the successful candidate to collaborate with an existing faculty member to teach students from Year 7 to Year 13.

Candidates who can teach an additional subject are encouraged to highlight this in their application.

Remuneration
The chosen candidate will be offered a competitive salary and benefits package that reflects their experience. This will include:
- A competitive salary.
- On-site accommodation (if recruited internationally) for at least the first year of the contract, with the option to transition to off-site housing and receive a housing allowance from the second year.
- Flights at the beginning and end of the contract (for dependent spouse and children as well).
- An annual flight allowance (for dependent spouse and children as well).
- Medical insurance (for dependent spouse and children as well).
- Full tuition fee coverage for up to two children, or three for teaching couples (50% for any additional children).
- A gratuity at the end of the contract.
