Sturgeon Lake School is on the lookout for a passionate special education teacher for the 2025-2026 school year. Our school prides itself on offering Cree language (nehiyawewin) instruction and emphasizes the importance of cultural integration within the learning journey. The ideal candidate will confidently incorporate foundational knowledge as outlined in the Alberta curriculum and show enthusiasm for engaging with our dynamic community.

Located just 15 minutes west of Valleyview, Alberta, Sturgeon Lake School caters to students from kindergarten through grade 12, aiming to provide them with the academic skills necessary to become engaged members of our nation and beyond. Please note that while housing is not currently offered, rental opportunities are available in Valleyview.
