St. George’s School is on the lookout for a dedicated and nurturing Primary Teaching & Learning Assistant to join our Primary Department, starting in August 2026.
The School
Since its inauguration in September 2013, St. George’s School Munich has rapidly developed into a lively community of over 800 students and 100 educators. Our educational approach blends a comprehensive curriculum with a familial atmosphere, creating a warm and inspiring environment for both teaching and learning.
In September 2017, the school entered an exciting new chapter by moving to a cutting-edge campus within the city. These modern facilities provide outstanding educational resources across various age groups and subjects.
The National Curriculum is followed throughout the school, with IGCSE qualifications offered to Upper School students. Sixth Form learners prepare for the International Baccalaureate Diploma.

The Location
Our new campus is located in Schwabing-Freimann, just north of Munich's city center. The site enjoys easy access to the U6 metro line and the A9 motorway.
Munich, the capital of Bavaria and the third-largest city in Germany, is a vibrant cultural center with a diverse international population. Situated at the northern foothills of the Alps, Munich boasts a high quality of life and plentiful opportunities for travel and outdoor pursuits.
The school is approximately 30km from Munich airport, which features numerous daily flights to the UK, and high-speed train services connect Munich with many European cities.
The Role
We are excited to welcome a Teaching & Learning Assistant to support our thriving Primary Department.
Candidates must be fluent in English and possess a solid understanding of the English National Curriculum. An enthusiasm for enhancing the dynamic extra-curricular offerings of the department would be advantageous.
Given the school’s progressive nature, flexibility and teamwork are essential. A strong dedication to contributing to the pastoral and extra-curricular aspects of the school is also beneficial.
The Primary Teaching & Learning Assistant will be actively involved across the entire primary department, playing a crucial role in monitoring student progress. They will consistently track pupils’ development and maintain regular communication with parents.
