St. George’s School is seeking a qualified Physical Education teacher to become part of our Primary and Secondary school teams, with a start date in August 2026.

The Location
Located on a newly developed campus in Germany’s Rhine-Ruhr region, St. George’s School enjoys excellent transport links to both Düsseldorf and Duisburg, as well as the larger Rhine-Ruhr area.
Düsseldorf, the sixth largest city in Germany, is a vibrant cultural center with a diverse international community. Centrally positioned in Europe, Düsseldorf provides a high standard of living, along with numerous opportunities for travel and cultural experiences.
The Düsseldorf airport is just 15km from the school, offering a variety of daily flights to the UK, while high-speed rail services connect Düsseldorf to multiple European destinations.
The Role
We are on the lookout for a qualified Physical Education Teacher to join our P.E. Department, serving students of all ages.
The successful candidate will be a dynamic educator with a proven ability to inspire students to achieve their highest potential. We are looking for a combination of experience, enthusiasm, and a deep passion for teaching that will engage our students.
Our P.E. Department is rapidly growing, with all students participating in P.E. as part of their education. A considerable number of students also engage in after-school sports, scheduled daily. Every member of the P.E. Department contributes to the extracurricular sports program and supports after-school and weekend activities. A strong dedication to enhancing and developing our extracurricular sports offerings is therefore crucial.

All applicants must hold a valid teaching qualification. We accept degrees in education (e.g., B.Ed./M.Ed./Lehramt) or postgraduate teaching certificates (e.g., PGCE) as valid. English language teaching certificates (e.g., TEFL/IELTS/CELTA) are not acceptable.
