About This Role

NAS Suzhou, opening in September 2021, will provide an innovative and world-class educational environment with a total capacity for 1,728 students, including approximately 664 boarding places for individuals aged 6-18. By offering a unique blended learning experience, NAS Suzhou will merge the finest aspects of Eastern and Western educational philosophies and resources. The bilingual program will seamlessly integrate key elements of the Chinese National Curriculum with esteemed international curricula, taught in both Mandarin Chinese and English.

Location: No.8 Liujue Road, Xiangcheng District, Suzhou

We are in search of an English Teacher to become a part of our team at NAS Suzhou, which is affiliated with Nord Anglia Education.

THE ROLE

In this position, you will play a key role in establishing high expectations for our students by crafting engaging learning experiences that align with our curriculum and fostering a classroom culture that promotes limitless achievement. Your responsibilities will include encouraging respect and facilitating learning through active questioning and meaningful discussions.

You will excel in our vibrant international environment and hold a university degree, a recognized teaching qualification, and relevant teaching experience. With a passion for creativity and innovation, you will continually evaluate your teaching methods and student outcomes, actively pursuing and implementing new strategies to enhance the school's academic success.

As a committed collaborator, you will represent the school with enthusiasm. Your strong communication skills will enable you to engage effectively with diverse groups, building robust relationships with both parents and students. Furthermore, you must fulfill the visa requirements for China, which stipulate a minimum of 2 years of experience in a relevant subject area and a notarized bachelor's degree.
