IB DP History Teacher - August 2026

Bloom World Academy is seeking dynamic and talented educators to join our team as an IB DP History Teacher for the Academic Year 2026/2027.

As an educator within the International Baccalaureate framework, you are expected to embody a strong dedication to promoting international mindedness in your classroom and contribute to this ethos across the school community. A solid understanding or experience in a student-centered, inquiry-based learning approach is crucial. Ideal candidates will showcase strong interpersonal skills and a proven track record of building and maintaining professional relationships, as well as outstanding written and verbal communication abilities.

We are in search of experienced teachers who are passionate about empowering every student to succeed and creating a classroom environment where all learners can thrive. You should be adept at teaching students of varying abilities and have a demonstrated history of achieving impressive student outcomes.

While familiarity with the IB program is highly desirable, it is not a strict requirement as training will be offered. Candidates should have experience in crafting engaging, meaningful, and challenging learning experiences, possess a solid understanding of classroom assessment practices, and, most importantly, hold a passion for inspiring students to realize their full potential and beyond.

Required Candidate Profile

Advanced proficiency in English

•
Bachelor's degree in History or a related discipline, along with a PGCE in Education with QTS or an equivalent credential

Subject-specific experience in an IB or GCSE institution

•
At least three years of teaching experience in a reputable educational setting

•
A record of outstanding student performance

•
Exhibits professionalism, enthusiasm, commitment, and integrity

•
Cultural awareness and effective communication skills, with a strong desire to engage with students and families
