We are in search of a passionate and committed **Higher Level Assistant Teacher** to become a part of our Primary team, providing support to students in FS and Key Stage 1. The ideal candidate will possess demonstrable experience in delivering whole-class lessons, a strong background in phonics, literacy, and maths interventions, and a genuine passion for nurturing children's learning and development.
**Essential Qualifications:**
- Experience in a British Curriculum school environment
- Experience in an Early Years setting, preferably within a school or a well-established nursery
**Desirable Qualifications:**
- Bachelor’s degree in primary education or early years
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Provide support for whole-class teaching and learning
- Deliver lessons during teachers' non-contact periods
- Plan and implement targeted intervention and booster sessions
- Conduct high-quality phonics sessions
- Enhance the learning environment, manage resources, and lead specific projects
- Conduct assessments and observations of children in the classroom, delivering detailed and regular feedback on their achievements, progress, and areas for improvement
- Adapt and implement learning activities for individual students or small groups requiring different approaches (as agreed upon)
- Work alongside class teachers to differentiate lessons and modify materials for students
- Track student progress and provide feedback to assist teachers
- Help in creating individual plans to support students' academic development
- Offer guidance and encouragement to students
- Attend relevant meetings as needed
