Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement stimulating, inquiry-based lessons that ignite curiosity, critical thinking, and a passion for learning.
- Establish a supportive and inclusive classroom atmosphere that recognizes individual strengths and accommodates diverse learning styles.
- Tailor teaching methods to address the varied needs of all students, including those who are EAL, gifted, or in need of additional assistance.
- Incorporate technology and innovative strategies to enhance student learning and participation.
- Monitor, document, and communicate student progress effectively, utilizing data to guide instruction and personalized support.
- Collaborate with peers to create and refine curriculum plans, resources, and assessments that align with the IB framework.
- Participate in the broader school community through co-curricular activities, events, and initiatives.
- Foster positive relationships with parents and the larger school community to promote student development and wellbeing.
- Engage in continuous professional development and reflection to improve teaching practices.
- Uphold the GEMS values and the IB Learner Profile in every aspect of school life.
