ABOUT THE ROLE

Are you a passionate advocate for inclusion with the strategic vision to remove barriers to learning? We are seeking an inspiring and dedicated SENDCO to join our Extended Leadership Team at Aspire Academy.

This is more than an administrative role; it is an extended leadership position that requires a blend of pedagogical expertise and operational excellence. You will manage the transition of students across Key Stages, oversee provision mapping, work with key stakeholders and ensure our SEND offer is transparent and effective.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Managing the SEND register, EHCP reviews, and overseeing staff in charge of exam access arrangements.

  • Delivering staff training to ensure high-quality SEND provision across the curriculum.

  • Championing the welfare and futures of our SEND pupils
