About This Role

We are thrilled to announce a vacancy for a dedicated and enthusiastic Business Teacher, prompted by the growth of our A Level and Key Stage 4 curriculum offerings. This role is set to begin in August 2026.

The ideal applicant will have a background in teaching secondary school students, particularly in BTEC and A Level Business. A solid understanding of BTEC programs is crucial, as the position involves knowledge of assessment, quality assurance, and course delivery.

Our Business Studies and BTEC Business Studies programs are well-established and flourishing, marked by strong student interest and consistently high performance outcomes.

Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging and effective lessons in Business Studies.
- Develop and prepare teaching materials in line with the Cambridge curriculum.
- Evaluate student progress and provide constructive feedback.
- Foster academic growth and encourage critical thinking among students.
- Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the overall learning environment.

Skills and Qualifications:
- A Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Education, or a related field (minimum requirement).
- A minimum of 2 years of teaching experience, ideally in an international school context.
- Comprehensive understanding of business studies content and BTEC assessment processes.
- Familiarity with the Cambridge curriculum framework for secondary education.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to inspire students and cultivate a positive classroom atmosphere.

• Keeping accurate records of lesson plans and student progress.

• Assisting the Head of Department in supporting students and creating enrichment opportunities.

• Collaborating closely with colleagues to ensure that suitable provisions are implemented for students.

• Providing regular assessment grades per the overall school assessment framework and submitting termly reports on student performance.

Compensation
