Capital School Bahrain is excited to announce an opening for a passionate and talented Teacher of Art to be part of our expanding secondary team.
The selected candidate will be responsible for teaching Art and Design to students in Key Stages 3 and 4, fostering creativity, technical abilities, and artistic self-assurance. This position involves preparing students for IGCSE Art and Design, aiding in the development of robust portfolios, and enhancing the vibrant arts culture within the school.
Key Responsibilities include:
· Design and implement high-quality Art lessons for KS3 and KS4
· Prepare students thoroughly for IGCSE Art and Design, focusing on coursework and portfolio creation
· Employ diverse teaching methods to cultivate students’ creativity, technical skills, and independent thought
· Differentiate lessons to cater to all learners, ensuring appropriate challenges and extensions
· Establish an inspiring and visually dynamic classroom environment that showcases student achievements
The ideal candidate will possess:
· Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent qualification
· A degree in Art, Fine Art, or a related field
· Proven experience teaching Art at KS3 and KS4 levels
· Familiarity with preparing students for IGCSE Art and Design
· Comprehensive subject knowledge across various artistic disciplines
· Strong classroom management and organizational abilities
