We are currently offering an exciting opportunity for an experienced Upper School French Teacher to become part of our outstanding team.

About the Role:
We are in search of a dedicated and skilled Upper School French Teacher to join our vibrant international community at ELIS Villamartín. This is a fantastic opportunity to lead the French program across Key Stages 2, 3, 4, and 5, igniting students' creativity, building their confidence, and guiding them toward academic success.

This position is a permanent, full-time role with a proposed start date in September 2026.

Key Responsibilities:
• Deliver captivating, high-quality French lessons to students aged 9–18, preparing them for IGCSE, A-Level, and DELF examinations.
• Utilize assessment and feedback: Leverage assessment data effectively to track student progress, offer constructive feedback, and set improvement targets.
• Integrate the ELIS Villamartín Values — Respect, Care, Perseverance, Honesty, and Kindness — into all facets of teaching, learning, and the broader school environment.
• Monitor student progress using assessment data, providing timely support and challenges to maximize individual potential.
• Foster student wellbeing and resilience, contributing to the implementation of the Cognita Be Well Charter.
• Engage actively in the broader life of the school through co-curricular activities, events, and enrichment opportunities.

Who We Are Looking For:
• A degree and a recognized teaching qualification (e.g., PGCE or equivalent).
• Demonstrated success in teaching French at the secondary school level, with experience in preparing students for external examinations.
• A commitment to holistic education, nurturing both the academic and personal development of each student.
• Enthusiasm, creativity, and a growth mindset, inspiring both students and colleagues.
• A collaborative and adaptable approach, with strong communication skills and a dedication to safeguarding and promoting student welfare.
