About This Role

Qualifications:

• A recognized UK teaching qualification, such as B.Ed, PGCE, PGDE, or an equivalent (PGCE/PGDE must be accompanied by a subject-relevant Bachelor’s Degree).

Successful candidates must possess:

• Strong subject expertise with substantial experience in the British curriculum.

• A genuine passion for their subject and an understanding of effective teaching methods.

• A proven history of delivering exceptional teaching and learning experiences in drama.

• Experience in directing school performances.

• A flexible and innovative approach to teaching.

• A willingness to engage in the broader school community.

• A belief that every student has the potential for excellence, along with the motivation and enthusiasm to support their success.

Desirable qualities:

• Experience working with students who speak English as an Additional Language.

• Proficiency in incorporating technology into educational practices.

• Background in an international school environment.

Important notes:

Greek Applicants - You must possess a relevant degree and have completed the teacher registry for private schools (Epetirida) or hold the qualifications to do so. Please note that international qualifications are not recognized as qualified teacher status for Greek candidates.

International Applicants - You must have a relevant degree from your passport country and a pertinent teaching qualification from the same country. UK applicants must have QTS along with a Department for Education Teacher Reference Number. Please note that the iPGCE is not currently recognized in Greece, and language qualifications such as TESOL and DELTA are not accepted.

Compensation

£30,000 - £45,000+ (Regional Equivalent)
