Established in 2014, GEMS FirstPoint School is a distinguished British Curriculum institution situated in the vibrant The Villa community of Dubai. The school currently serves around 2,000 students from Nursery (age 2) through Year 13 and has exciting plans for future growth.

FPS takes pride in being an inclusive and values-oriented school, welcoming students from over 90 different nationalities. Our campus features cutting-edge facilities, including a dedicated center for sports and the performing arts, swimming pools, a theatre, a sports hall, as well as rooms for dance, drama, and music. Students benefit from specialized learning environments that include fully equipped science labs, computer suites, a food technology kitchen, textiles and design areas, and Design Technology workshops.

The curriculum offered is comprehensive, well-rounded, and enriched with exceptional co-curricular opportunities, ensuring that every student can reach their full potential and experience personal success. Candidate Profile

• A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in English or a related field.

• A recognized teaching qualification (PGCE, QTS, or equivalent).

• Strong classroom experience with a demonstrated ability to inspire and motivate students.

• A commitment to inclusive education and personalized learning approaches.

• A willingness to contribute to the broader school community and foster a culture of professional learning.

GEMS Education is dedicated to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of all students and staff members. A UK-enhanced DBS or an equivalent police check is a prerequisite for all appointments.

Compensation

£30,000 - £45,000+ (Regional Equivalent)
