Qualifications:

• A recognized UK teaching qualification, such as B.Ed, PGCE, PGDE, or an equivalent (PGCE/PGDE must be supported by a relevant Bachelor’s Degree).

• or - a Degree in English along with a Teaching Qualification from your home country.

Successful candidates will possess:

• In-depth subject knowledge with significant experience in the British curriculum.

• A genuine enthusiasm for their subject and effective teaching methodologies.

• A proven history of delivering exceptional teaching and learning in English Language and Literature.

• A creative and adaptable approach to education.

• Experience teaching students for whom English is an Additional Language.

• Familiarity with integrating technology into the classroom.

In alignment with our 'Safer Recruitment Policy', applications must be submitted through the TES portal in English. Offers of employment will be provisional, pending satisfactory verification of references and criminal background checks.

Important Notes:

Greek Applicants - You must possess a relevant degree and have completed the teacher registry for private schools (Epetirida), or have the qualifications necessary to do so. Please be aware that international qualifications are not considered qualified teacher status for Greek candidates within Greece.

International Applicants - You must hold a relevant Degree from your country of passport and a corresponding teaching qualification from the same country. UK applicants must have QTS with a Department for Education Teacher Reference Number. Note that the iPGCE is not currently recognized in Greece, and Language Qualifications such as TESOL & DELTA are not accepted.

Compensation

£30,000 - £45,000+ (Regional Equivalent)
