Responsible for: Arabic B & French Teacher Role
Main purpose
The educator will:

Qualifications and Experience
•
A Bachelor's degree is required, along with a recognized teaching qualification (e.g., PGCE, B.Ed.).
•
A minimum of 2 years of successful teaching experience in Arabic and French within the British Curriculum is preferred.
•
Experience in teaching within the UAE is advantageous.
Skills and Knowledge
•
Familiarity with the British National Curriculum.
•
Understanding of adaptive teaching and learning methodologies.
•
A solid grasp of child learning processes.
•
Ability to tailor instruction to accommodate students' diverse needs.
•
Capacity to foster productive relationships with students.
•
Awareness of safeguarding guidelines and requirements for children.
•
Knowledge of effective strategies for managing student behavior.

Duties and responsibilities
Teaching
•
Design lesson plans aligned with the school curriculum and national educational standards.
•
Deliver engaging, interactive lessons that accommodate various learning styles and abilities.
•
Establish a positive, inclusive classroom atmosphere that fosters respect, cultural awareness, and diversity.
•
Assess and track students’ learning progress through diverse methods, including quizzes, exams, projects, and presentations.
•
Provide timely, constructive feedback to students and parents regarding academic performance and behavior.
•
Collaborate with colleagues and school staff to create interdisciplinary projects and activities.
•
Stay informed about the latest teaching strategies, technologies, and resources in Arabic language and literature.
•
Engage in professional development opportunities, such as workshops, conferences, and training sessions.
•
Offer guidance and support to students requiring additional help or academic assistance.
•
Attend staff meetings, parent-teacher conferences, and other school events as needed.
•
Maintain accurate and current records of student attendance, grades, and assignments.

Safeguarding
•
Adhere to statutory safeguarding guidelines (e.g., Keeping Children Safe in Education) along with our safeguarding and child protection policies.
•
Collaborate with the designated safeguarding lead (DSL) to promote students' best interests, including sharing any concerns as necessary.
•
Ensure the safeguarding of all students in the school at all times.
Other areas of responsibility
•
Ensure full compliance with all regulations, policies, and frameworks mandated by the KHDA, BSO, and the UAE Ministry of Education.
•
Assist the leadership team in preparing for and executing the KHDA inspection process, developing and adhering to post-inspection action plans.
•
Support the success of the UAE National Agenda.
•
Maintain professional communication with all KHDA and Government Officials, representing the school at required forums and meetings upon the Principal's request.
