G2 Homeroom Teacher - Dongtan
About This Role
Saint Paul American Scholars (SPAS) is an expanding K-12 educational institution committed to cultivating responsible citizens and preparing students for their future academic endeavors. This mission involves instilling essential ethical values such as courage, compassion, integrity, justice, truth, reason, fairness, respect, and honesty alongside the fundamental academic curriculum.
A nurturing school environment is defined by high-quality instruction from educators and effective learning by students. This entails ensuring a safe space for everyone involved with SPAS, while promoting citizenship and the fair application of rules within the Saint Paul Scholars community. We recognize parents as crucial partners in the education journey, emphasizing their involvement and accountability in their children's academic performance and behavior.
At SPAS, we seek educators who embody the role of a teacher beyond traditional boundaries. Ideal candidates are those who actively seek ways to assist struggling students, challenge those who excel, and understand the reasons behind students' performance levels. The drive of these educators emanates from their commitment to fostering not just student survival, but true growth and success. They are eager to collaborate with fellow educators and community members to uplift their students.
Educators recognize that teaching transcends the mere act of assigning, collecting, and grading assignments. If you resonate with this philosophy, we invite you to apply.
