About This Role
Saint Paul American Scholars (SPAS) is an expanding K-12 educational institution dedicated to nurturing responsible citizens and equipping students for future academic pursuits. To achieve this, students must grasp essential ethical principles such as courage, compassion, integrity, justice, truth, reason, fairness, respect, and honesty, alongside their core academic studies.
A thriving school environment is marked by exceptional teaching and meaningful learning experiences. This necessitates a secure atmosphere for everyone at SPAS, with a strong focus on citizenship and the fair application of rules within the Saint Paul Scholars community. We recognize the vital role parents play in education and believe they should be actively involved and accountable for their children's achievements and conduct.
At SPAS, we seek educators who see themselves as more than just teachers. Our ideal candidates are deeply committed to understanding how to assist struggling students, how to challenge those who excel, and the reasons behind students' performance levels. Their motivation stems from the hard work and dedication required to help students not only succeed but truly flourish. Educators are eager to collaborate with fellow educators and community stakeholders to support their students.
We value the belief that education transcends merely assigning, collecting, and reviewing work. If you share this perspective, we would love to hear from you.
