Job Role
The objective is to conduct dynamic ICT lessons across Key Stages, promote digital literacy, and encourage students to be confident and responsible technology users.
Job Responsibilities
•
Design and implement top-notch ICT lessons that align with the Curriculum
•
Instruct on computing topics, such as digital literacy, programming, and online safety
•
Effectively incorporate technology to improve teaching and learning experiences
•
Evaluate, monitor, and track student progress while providing consistent feedback
•
Tailor instruction to accommodate varying learning needs
•
Engage in curriculum development and innovation within the ICT field
•
Advocate for responsible technology use and raise e-safety awareness
•
Take part in school events, ongoing professional development, and the broader school community
Job Requirements
•
Bachelor’s degree in ICT, Computer Science, or a related field
•
Recognized teaching qualification (PGCE / B.Ed. or an equivalent)
•
Experience in teaching ICT within a British curriculum environment (preferred)
•
In-depth knowledge of coding, digital tools, and emerging technologies
•
Strong classroom management and communication abilities
•
Dedication to safeguarding and promoting student wellbeing
