The Canadian School of Florence is seeking a qualified Science Teacher to enhance our students’ educational journey by delivering exceptional Science instruction and maintaining high levels of student achievement. This role is focused on our High School and is ideal for a candidate who embraces a hands-on approach and emphasizes STEM education.
Position Overview
You will be responsible for teaching essential components of the Science curriculum, utilizing assessments and constructive feedback to foster and elevate student performance.
Job Requirements
•
Possession of Qualified Teacher Status or an equivalent credential
•
Relevant specialist qualifications and experience (e.g., a BSc in a science-related field)
•
Capability to provide engaging Science lessons that encompass a variety of modules and concepts, both theoretical and practical
•
Familiarity with curriculum and assessment standards in Science
•
A strong enthusiasm and dedication to delivering high-quality teaching and learning in preparation for examinations
•
Desirable: Specialization in Biology or related subjects. Experience teaching in an international school setting.
Personal Competencies:

Excellent communication skills in English (minimum C2 level)
•
Strong IT proficiency, with the ability to utilize various platforms to actively engage students in modern learning environments through relevant technology.
