About This Role
Yas School is on the lookout for an exceptional Whole School Computing, Creative Design and Innovation (CCDI) Teacher to join our team in August 2026 for the academic year 2026-2027, or sooner if feasible.
This is a remarkable opportunity to be part of a premier government school in Abu Dhabi, dedicated to merging Emirati cultural principles with contemporary global benchmarks to offer an outstanding educational experience. At Yas School, we implement the Ministry of Education (MOE) curriculum with a strong emphasis on inclusive education, enrichment, and preparing learners for the future. Established in 2015, we are the largest single-campus K-12 government institution, serving over 1750 boys and girls across our expansive campus.
We are in search of a seasoned educator, well-versed in UK or US curricula, with preferred experience in the UAE Ministry of Education (MOE) curriculum.
As a teacher at Yas School, you will be tasked with delivering engaging and effective lessons that contribute to students’ academic success, personal development, and overall well-being. You will play a pivotal role in enabling students to realize their full potential, equipping them to excel as competitive global citizens while embracing and promoting the UAE’s heritage and Emirati identity.
In your teaching role, you will actively cultivate strong relationships and maintain open communication with parents, colleagues, and students, ensuring that academic and behavioral standards align with the school’s ethos and policies. You will be dedicated to fostering a safe, inclusive, and stimulating learning environment that inspires every student to achieve excellence.
The ideal candidate should meet the following criteria:
• Hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Education or a Post Graduate Diploma in Education in the relevant subject area.
• A Master's Degree in Education/Educational Leadership or a related discipline is advantageous.
• Demonstrate proficiency in English (minimum IELTS score of 6 or equivalent).
• Bilingual skills in English and Arabic are highly valued.
• Possess a UAE Certified Teaching License or equivalent, or be in the process of obtaining one.
• Have a minimum of 2 years of classroom teaching experience.
