As The Royal Grammar School Guildford, Qatar (RGSGQ) continues to expand, we are on the lookout for an exceptional primary teacher to become part of one of the leading British International schools in the Middle East.

The RGS Guildford Qatar has established a robust partnership with RGS Guildford in the UK, an esteemed independent school with a long-standing tradition of excellence in education. We also maintain strong connections with our international sister schools across the globe.

RGS Guildford Qatar is a comprehensive British institution that offers a co-educational curriculum for students aged 3 to 18. Since its opening in September 2016, the school has grown to accommodate over 785 students on a campus located just 20 minutes from the Pearl and the new Lusail city. The academic offerings include the English Early Years Foundation Stage, the National Curriculum at Key Stages 1, 2, and 3, and a wide selection of IGCSE courses at Key Stage 4. In the Post-16 phase, a variety of AS levels are available. The institution is renowned for its high standards in teaching and learning and boasts outstanding sports facilities, including an astro turf, sports hall, and an open-air swimming pool.

Successful applicants must have:

· A recognized teaching qualification, such as B.Ed, PGCE, or equivalent (the PGCE should be paired with a subject-relevant bachelor’s degree)

· Outstanding subject expertise, with considerable experience in delivering the British National Curriculum

· A valid QTS certificate

· Completion of ECT induction

· Strong teamwork capabilities

· A diligent and highly driven work ethic

· A passion for and demonstrated success in delivering exceptional teaching and learning

· A willingness to engage in extracurricular activities beyond school hours
