About This Role

Wuxi Dipont School of Arts and Science, in collaboration with King’s College School, Wimbledon and Nanjing Foreign Language School, is looking to hire a Teacher of Lower Secondary English to become part of a vibrant educational community that merges the best elements of international and Chinese learning, starting in August 2026.

Background

Wuxi Dipont School of Arts and Science was established with robust support from the local government of Wuxi and through a partnership between two esteemed institutions: Nanjing Foreign Language School in China and King’s College School in Wimbledon, UK. Together, they envisioned a “school of the future” dedicated to providing a comprehensive education. Since opening its doors in September 2018 with 750 students, the school has grown to nearly 2,000 enrollees, reflecting the institution's quality, ambitious vision, and the backing of partners, parents, and the broader community.

About you


A Bachelor’s degree in English or a related field; a Master’s degree is preferred.


Proven ability to demonstrate significant student progress for a diverse range of EAL learners.


Experience in executing a thorough approach to planning and assessment.


A keen interest in adolescent development and a positive outlook on students’ potential for learning and growth.


Capacity to understand and implement local Chinese educational standards and embrace new technologies.


A commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion.


Strong skills in collaboration, rapport-building, and communication within a Dual Language Immersion environment.

Compensation

$3,600 - $4,500 per month (Competitive salary, housing, relocation, flights, insurance and free tuition)
