About This Role

We are seeking a Wellbeing Lead to become a part of our dedicated team at GEMS Education in Dubai, with a start date in August 2026. Key Responsibilities: Drive the strategic creation and execution of the school's wellbeing vision, adopting a comprehensive, preventative, and inclusive strategy for student wellbeing. Supervise and coordinate pastoral systems and wellbeing services, collaborating closely with senior leaders, counselors, Heads of Year, and teaching staff. Monitor and enhance student wellbeing, safeguarding, behavior, and attendance, ensuring prompt intervention and appropriate escalation as necessary. Utilize both qualitative and quantitative data to detect patterns, inform strategies, and assess the effectiveness of wellbeing programs. Assist staff in integrating wellbeing practices into teaching, learning, and everyday school experiences, including providing training and guidance. Serve as a primary contact for students and parents regarding wellbeing issues, delivering advice and support as needed. Communicate with external agencies and professionals to guarantee that students receive the necessary assistance. Participate in the formulation and evaluation of policies and procedures pertaining to wellbeing, safeguarding, and inclusion. Foster a positive and inclusive school environment that promotes emotional resilience, student voice, and personal growth. Collaborate with the broader leadership team to ensure that wellbeing continues to be a fundamental strategic priority within the Secondary School.

Compensation

£30,000 - £45,000+ (Regional Equivalent)
