Essential Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of recent and successful teaching experience
• Graduate-level qualified teacher
• Bachelor’s degree in a related subject area
• Qualified Teacher Status along with evidence of relevant subsequent professional development
• Demonstrable experience working with students in the specified age group
• Proven capability to motivate students within an engaging learning environment
• Experience in using ICT to enhance educational outcomes

Preferred Qualifications

• Master’s degree is advantageous
• Experience teaching English as an Additional Language (EAL) students
• Experience in delivering IGCSE and A Level curricula
• Background in an international school setting with familiarity with the British education system
• Track record of establishing clear goals and objectives for students, leading to significant advancements in subject performance
• Knowledge of effective disciplinary strategies
• Understanding of child development and its impact on behavior
• Potential for a Head of Year position for candidates with applicable experience
