About This Role


As SENCo, you will lead on the development and implementation of our SEND policy and provision, ensuring high-quality support for all learners with additional needs.

As Class Teacher, you will inspire and nurture a class of children through creative, inclusive, and engaging teaching.Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the strategic development of SEN provision across the school

• Maintain and manage the SEN register and coordinate EHCP reviews

• Advise and coach staff in best practices for supporting pupils with SEN

• Liaise with parents, carers, and external agencies to support student progress

• Deliver high-quality teaching, with a commitment to inclusive classroom practices

• Be a part of the school’s senior leadership team and contribute to whole-school improvement

We Are Looking For:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)

• At least 3 years’ experience as a class teacher with proven good/outstanding teaching

• Strong working knowledge of the SEND Code of Practice and relevant legislation• Excellent communication, leadership, and time management skills

• NASENCo qualification

• A team player with a passion for helping every child succeed

• able to organise and work independently and manage resources effectively

• interested in or have experience of working with children with SEMH

• is supportive of a non-exclusion policy
